Hi everyone 
I’m looking for some advice on an action camera for my 5” FPV drone. Ideally something GoPro-like, but as I’m still in school I don’t have a steady income and brand-new cameras are a bit out of reach for me at the moment.
I’m trying to figure out what the best budget-friendly option would be. I’ve also been considering the idea of buying a damaged or non-working camera for parts and repairing it, if that’s a realistic route.
If anyone has recommendations for good alternatives, models to look out for second-hand, or experience repairing action cameras, I’d really appreciate the advice. Thanks in advance!

If yiour on a budget, these aren’t bad…
It’s not in the same league as a go pro or dji but works well enough. Has plenty of postitive reviews.
Had mine a little while and still works well.

If you can find a broken GoPro at a reasonable price and you can manage to repair it. Of course it would be a better option, it’s a better camera.
But if you just want a basic but very functional camera then the V50 X will do an admirable Job. Mines performed well for my needs.
Digitaldrone might be a solution too !

Okay thanks, there’s a few cheap broken gopros on ebay but i’m not too confident on being able to repair it as I know they they can be tricky as well as with the parts being hard to find.
GoPro Hero 8 has good specs and is available on eBay for £100-120 used.
