I have been building R/C kits and flying helicopters since the early 1990s, progressing into a highly skilled 3D pilot. I achieved the BMFA B Certificate and served for several years as an approved instructor with a local flying club.

My transition into drone operations began in 2016, where my enthusiasm for UAVs quickly developed. I currently hold both the A2 Certificate of Competency (A2 CofC) and the General Visual Line of Sight Certificate (GVC) – EASA A1/A3. My first drone was the DJI Mavic Pro, and I now fly the DJI Mini 4 Pro and my new DJI Mini 5 Pro
