Martian 3 Build

It looks correct, given that it’s reading the sticks positions as centred with throttle down.

I assume the bars move if you twiddle the sticks?

I can’t be certain of the radio’s aux channel config though, so I can’t be sure the arm switch is configured for aux1.

Nope, that’s the problem, no comms between RC & FC

AUX1 is not picking up anything from the RC as it’s not connecting…

But can’t get it to connect FC>RX<FC

Oh. Ok…

That’s… Odd. Given that it’s hardwired, and configured correctly.

You haven’t updated the firmware at all, right? Manufacturer defaults across the board?

I have to wonder at the radio’s settings. Perhaps it’s the radio that’s misconfigured…?

Correct, no updates. I avoid upgrades unless necessary. In think case I think it may be the fix?

The Radio binds to the RX ok, so shouldn’t be any issues there or…

I’m gonna let my brain ponder this for a while. Maybe ask a couple of other nerds. I’ll get back to you in a bit. :+1:

OK mate thanks,

So to clarify for ‘any other nerds’ here’s the issue:

RX not recognised by the AIO FC even though the RC is bound to the RX ok and receiving telemetry from the FC - battery state etc.

I can also connect to the RX’s WiFi interface

What version of Betaflight is on the AIO, and what version of ELRS is on the Rx and Radio Tx?

How do you know that the radio is connecting to the Rx?

See picture, top right of screen - no connection

After bind - same place and battery levels

2026-01-16 @10:30:55 – Flight controller info, identifier: BTFL, version: 4.5.1
2026-01-16 @10:30:55 – Running firmware released on: Dec 20 2024 18:38:39

The ELRS version is the pre-installed one on the FC, 3.6 running on the RC

The FC’s ELRS appears to be V3.0.1

Vesions of ELRS shouldn’t be an issue if the RC is connecting and receiving telem from the FC.

The strange thing is that it will not show up on the receiver or setup page

Just thinking aloud - if the RC is receiving battery stats as per picture, then the RX must be ‘talking’ to the FC? Or have I missed something?

Yeah, the Rx has to be getting the telem from somewhere.

I suspect the Radio (Tx) side. TX15 Max, right?

I’ll pull the model off mine in a few moments and see if I can post it here for you to drop into the models directory on the SD card (radio (on) into pc via usb, select usb storage from menu on radio display)

EDIT: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1KKpLmv8kmMvr0bBSEmVGchfWtvdOhucv

That’s the “Quad” model I use on my radio. Provided the system settings on the radio are sensible that should at least mean we know the radio end is sending data correctly.

Thanks mate, busy right now, I’ll give it a go in a bit, probably after lunch..

I’ll add an edit to this post to update…

Nice job

Not sure if you fixed this, two things pop to mind, some times when flashing betaflight it is easy to make an error on initial setup not getting the nessasary selections. And the other looking at the radio calibration.
I had this with one system and it was the version of betaflight not working with the flight controler as such i had to back date it.
