Drone use in Greece

Hi all, took a few months off, sold up with drones due to the issues and many rules coming/going etc…happy to be back, this time with a DJi Flip.
Just one question> I’m going to Greece the end of July, can I take the drone through the airport without any restrictions?
I contacted TUi direct, and said I want to take a drone with 3x batteries, and they clarified it as a yes.
I already sent an email to the Greek CAA for clearance and acknowledgement, and awaiting a reply.
Following the Greek GA mapping, and got an Operator ID and flyer ID also, for the UK and EU until 2028. Do you think I will be in the clear through airport security?

Hey Seadevil

I took my Mini 3 over to Skiathos in May this year, and I had no issues whatsoever.
They were happy for me to keep it in the bag when flying out from the UK, but had to make sure everything was out of my bag when returning from Skiathos. Obviously, everything needs to be in hand luggage, as it’s a battery-operated device.

Hope this helps.

Skiathos, my favourite Greek island so far. Gone a bit expensive though, covered it twice now on a quad bike through my photography interest, also Skopelos and Alonnisos, Just back from Rhodes and Symi, but going to Kefalonia for our second time. I emailed Greece CAA in Heraklion last month with my plan, checked out their Greek Drone Aware GR on application. I rang TUi holiday company and Bristol Airport also. All good to go now, just need the protective fire retardant bag for 3x batteries. Thank you for the reply.
