Very informative video on You Tube.
FPV UK Article 16 Operational Authorisation Explanation
I have my Flyer and Operator ID. Can you clarify the “over a crowded place” regarding a DJI Mini 4 Pro?
I am thinking of doing some videoing of the crowds at a local FREE music event. It is on a public park.
Is the document shown in the video avalable to print off. And is the hand book avalable as a actual physical book?
How to I sign up to and agree to the Article 16 Operational Authorisation.

Hi @Tiddles

You must not fly your drone over an assembly of people. As assembly of people is defined as a place where the volume of people present is such that they can not move out of the way, if a drone were to come towards them.
Flying over a crowd (such as at a music event) is very much a no no. Even with a sub-250g aircraft.
You could potentially come up with a way of filming the crowd, without flying over it, though.
The article 16 infographic is available here: fpv.uk/article16infog - it is also in the handbook.fpv.uk
The handbook can be read online or printed off. It is not available in printed form.
Tick the box in your FPV UK account to agree to fly under the article 16 rules.
I hope this answers your questions
All the best

Got all that. Thank you.
I do have an access all areas pass as I am part of the volunteer photographic team. So I could in theory take off from behind the stages, Getting a views across the site without flying over it.
