Good day, I am a newbie. 2 questions, I have a Neo 2 and a 12 yr old Phantom2. Perry Forest, Worcester is practically my back yard. It has a huge open grass area. Am I allowed to fly my Phantom2 there? Secondly, where is a drone flying club in or close to Worcester where I can fly my drones?

Sorry to jump on the thread - but I’m getting overly confused about the situation with TOAL.
I get that unless it’s notified RPZ/FRZ or other airspace on the various drone maps, the “airspace” is available for use (within the rules of course), but it’s the TOAL where I’m getting confused/frustrated. Almost everywhere is private land where permission is needed form the landowner, or it belongs to some trust who either have a blanket ban or demand huge sums of money for permission.
@WayneKillian is around Worcester (i’m not far) and there are some stunning places around there. But the Malvern Hills Trust seems to ban all flying across huge areas, and local councils seem to make things more difficult in terms of process and having to wait weeks for permissions to take off from fields or parks.
There seems to be various walk ways and foot paths posted as “safe” but many are crowded and unsafe to operate from.
Maybe I’m being overly cautious? Maybe it’s just the way it is?
Where i live its very simular. If you got onto some of the websites that link in with gov. for roads who there maintained and own by it helps. Also for public footpaths and bridle ways as if its maintianed and run by public / council moneys eg council tax your good unless there a by laws of frz in place but ive never come across one yet to stop flight where i go. I could be wrong but thats what i believe. Where ive done other farms flying from i have had to ask the farmer and also a golf club permission . But all have said yes and been good with it
