What video editing software do you use for editing your videos?

Hi all.

I wonder what software you all use for editing your drone flying videos please?

I used to use Adobe Premiere, but given the video editor on my phone is now way better / easier to use than that im hoping you can recommend a better tool for my PC too.

Thanks

Simon

I just use apples iMovie, it’s easy to use, quite capable and free.

I use Davinci Resolve, it’s best free software on the planet. I’ve since switched to the paid Studio version (one time license fee), arguably the best paid video editing software as well. It has its roots in color grading for Hollywood films and has been steadily adding editing capabilities.

I use YouCut I am a new drone user but I think it is ok.

YouCut, CapcCut, lightCut, sony’s movie Creator on the phone and filmora and DaVinci resolve on PC are for video.

Theta+, Reshoot, VeeR Editor, insta360 for 360 videos and pictures on my phone on pc I use kolor autopano giga and insta360 and DaVinci reserve…
Bimostitch for stitching 360 degree images together on my phone…

Photos I use lightroom Photoshop on pc and Snapseed and gmip on mobile phone. Bit more than you asked but why not…

Hope this helps.:+1:

Are you using the 2018 version of Autopano Giga? How does that compare to stitching in Lighroom Photoshop? @DronePilot01

Yes I use it for the full 360 and I know how to use it which helps. I use lightroom for HDR and all other types of panorama but full 360 I always use autopano giga to do the stitching. I do then edit it in lightroom so it always ends up there eventually. :+1:

Having started with Sony Vegas some years ago and having had free updates learnt the bits I need, then ended up buying Vegas Pro 21.

It’s very easy to learn for me at least compared to some I’ve tried…

Necro post but I would agree with some earlier that DaVinci Resolve is one of the best tools available. As far as easy and quick, Kdenlive is very capable and simple to use.

I use gyroflow for stabilisation and then resolve.

I’ve recently started to use Davinci Resolve, quite a comprehensive piece of software for free.
