Wanted something to fly round the back gardens

Built a couple of Tiny Whoop for flying round the back gardens. Trying to dig myself out of this funk, hopefully being able to fly without a load of prep and a drive out for the day will help…

Anyway, some pics, G502 mouse and hand for scale…

Built two the same; Matrix II AIO, CaddX Ant Lite cameras, RCinPower 0702 31800kV motors, 1209-3 props, Lava II 320mAh 1s Lipo on Air65 II frames. All wire solder joins e6000 glued, AIO and Cam PCB conformal coated with MG Chemicals 422c.

There’s a little bit more weight to be shaved off by way of removing the cameras’ sockets and soldering the cables, but I need to fiddle with camera settings before I can do that.

If I remember, and I can summon the effort, I’ll put some DVR footage together and drop a link in here :yellow_heart:

Wow 25.4grams that’s almost 1/10 the weight of my Mini 4 Pro and I remember a certain Aussie YTuber flying a Tiny Whoop around his back garden a couple of years ago.
It’s very often so windy where I live and I will have to be careful when I get to fly in my local park (full permission already obtained).
I too love building stuff, always have, especially the electronics and fault finding whenever necessary.
