This new toroidal propeller designs - initially from MIT - are quite interesting. Have you printed some and had a go yet? Are they any good?
That’s some cool tech! I’m really excited to give it a try. The fact that toroidal props work better at both high and low speeds compared to traditional ones is mind-blowing. Double performance? Yes please!

They’re also way quieter which should keep some people much happier

Has anyone printed one of these? I’ve just ordered a Bambu Lab A1 printer for a completely different project; I’ve never flown a UAV, but I think it would be very satisfying to print both a quad and a fixed wing…
