Glad you’ve managed to get some flight time in!
Back when I was a proper lorry driver,one of the bonuses was getting to see lots of different things around the country.That transporter bridge never failed to impress,a truly wonderful piece of engineering

I can remember walking over that bridge in the early 60s when you could do such a thing for a few (old) pence. The colour of the Tees was best described as “palest sewage”.

Yes its the old transporter bridge that cars went over the river but its not in use now

Yes. Sometimes my dad would take his car over and I would go up the stairs, over the top, and meet him on the other side.
