I have a DJI Mini 5 Pro and have CAA - A1, A2 and A3, I also have EASA - A1 and A3. I’m off to Japan next month and have obtained DIPS-REG via MLIT which gives me Japan’s equivalent of Operator ID, which must be affixed to and logged in the Drone. However, I have hit a snag, Japan requires Remote ID broadcast and the DJI Mini 5 doesn’t yet support it in UK models. I’m guessing this will be added in a firmware update before the UK regs change in Dec 2027, but as it stands its a no go!!!
