Some sort of GPS/ tracker for drone query

Hi all

Two things if I may?

I have now seen DJI mini 4k is on Amazon for £209 any thoughts?

Also, does anyone use some sort of gps tracker attachment on the drone itself or airtag equivalent type of thing ( obviously may then be an issue if over the 250g weight)?

DJI Drones have a find my drone feature, even if it is lost/stolen the drone would be linked to your DJI account and it’s extremely difficult for another person to delink it. So wherever your drone is last seen it should show up on the app.

It’s more the thought if I lost line of sight and it came down somewhere, that I could not find it.

I saw that app tracker thing on youtube on DJI but I wasnt sure if it was available on the mini 4k?

I was wondering anyone uses an additional means of a tracker?

The DJI App for the Mini 4K should still locate the drone. I’m presuming it still has the find my drone feature, on testing the feature on my Mavic 2 Pro it’s accuracy is very good.

I have ordered one from Amazon with an extra battery

Will keep it boxed until the black Friday, Cyber Monday is over just incase its price fell
