Hi
I’m very new to the drone community and have everything in place IDs , insurance, membership
all the usual weather apps.
Practice on flight simulator etc
Looking in my area for permitted sights to fly my drone.
Poulton le Fylde
Blackpool
Thornton Cleveleys
Wyre and Fylde councils
Can anyone suggest good place to fly / practice?
@RRgasman Hi
have you checked out TheDroneMap.com this will explain where you are permitted and also where you are not permitted to fly your drone.
Hi yes I did look.
The local park near me which has massive area of football pitches and cricket etc But does have a drone policy of no drones. Without permission.
I looked on the link and have to fill out an application to fly licence which is very specific in times and dates.
I know my area very well but wondered if any local to me members have any good spots
A couple of designated Kite areas but unsure if drones able to fly on them.
Thanks
