RadioMaster boxer - overhyped?

I bought this as it’s so well reviewed, but after a year, I regret it.
Here are my major gripes about it for FPV use, in no particular order.

  1. Black on black buttons. Can’t see what I’m doing and I hate holding a torch in my teeth.
  2. Pointless controls. My FPV setup on this assigns ARM and the gimbals. The trim switches are of no use, nor are the six function buttons or circular pots.
  3. The screen flickers a bit on low settings, like it’s at death’s door.
  4. The internal battery lasted less than a year.
  5. You can’t assign buttons to launch the ELRS menu.
  6. I have big hands and this thing feels like holding a brick.
  7. They haven’t labelled which of the two USB ports is which.
  8. It takes up by far the most room of all my kit.
  9. The interface is designed for so many use cases, it takes endless menu-wrangling to set up profiles. I guess that’s on Edge TX, though.
  10. There are too many buttons for navigating through menus - roller, roller press, page left, page right, return.
  11. Tiny strap at the back for people who have three arms?
  12. Mine came with two branded keyrings. Why not bundle something useful like hi-vis covers for the rockers, or a roll of masking tape and a pen to mark the button assignments?

The gimbals do feel very good, and once it’s set up, it’s very reliable and battery life is great. But I can see myself selling this pretty soon.
