Hi there, been lurking the forums for a few days now and thought I’d actually say hi.
I recently purchased a DJI Mini 4K to get back out flying, I had a DJI Phantom 3 many years ago and I’m surprised at how much drone capabilities have changed since then. Just the sheer size difference and the fact I don’t need a dedicated backpack for the mini 4K is an absolute win for me.
I’ve done my Flyer ID, Operator ID and insurance ( again, I used FPVUK last time also )
I live in the SW of Wales along the beautiful coastline so there’s plenty of beaches, cliffs and scenery for me to fly around and enjoy.
Won’t let me upload a photo of a local beach I took so you’ll have to use your imagination.

Where abouts in SW wales are you?
Have you checked out TheDroneMap.com this will give you valuable information as to where you can and cannot fly your drone. And is also downloadable do various platforms of your choice. I currently have this downloaded onto my phone.
The mini 4k is a fantastic drone with some great features and tech and has a wind resistance rating of 38KPH or Level 5 which is a fairly higher rating than some orher DJI drones on the market.
I’m as far SW as you can get without falling off the cliff pretty much.
I’ve had a look! Already installed to my phone’s homescreen.
