Newly built drone has motor twitch

Hi everyone, complete newby here. I have recently built my first drone, however it has a terrible motor twitch and I just cannot solve the issue. My equipment is as follows: speedybee f405 v5, 04 air unit pro, xing 2 2207 2750kv motors and 4s batteries. Drone configured via betaflight.

I have played around with some settings suggested online but no change. I have gone through my motor solders and resoldered anything that I felt looked a bit off.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi mate,

I can’t help you with this. But when I used to fly RC Helicopters I had a similar issue when it was idle… The motors would move the swashplate constantly and it sounds like a similar twitch issue.

Chatgpt really helped me with that problem. It was quite awhile back so I can’t remember what solved it - think I had to recalibrate within the ESC (had to do some stick movements in sequence).

As you’re using betaflight which I assume is what programs the motors - rather than sifting through forums etc.. try to give AI a go… It can be really helpful in those situations as with my issue I couldn’t find a fix anywhere whereas AI will search all over in a much shorter timeframe.

Hi there. Thank you for the response !

I exhausted AI before posting on here. Tbh it got me further away (maybe me misunderstanding). HOWEVER, the issue is now sorted. It was either the profile template I used or corrupt firmware but after a new firmware flash and a full wipe, it now flies like a dream (a part from my skill ha ha).

It was a good issue to resolve and I can only learn from it. Got my dusty multimeter out checking mosfets and motors just in case I screwed into the copper windings lol.

Thanks again for the reply though .
