I have just come back into the UK and have a new DJI mini 5 Pro. I flew it in December 2025 for the first time and now we are in 2026. DO I need to display my Remote ID? I’ve been looking at all the Tutorials about adding it in the fly app but my fly app does not appear to have that section. Is it going to be added at a later date? Am I ok to fly it now without broadcasting ? I am confused !

I had the same confusion! I thought I’d read that any drone with uk class marks sold after jan1st had to be compliant but it wasn’t mandatory until 2028.I looked for the same section in the fly app as you it seems and I too could not find it.From what I understand now is that there will possibly be a firmware update to add that section to the fly app to input your I.D. and maybe sort out the flashing green lights for night flight.At the moment from what I’ve read from others is that the lights flash until filming starts when they go solid,going back to flashing once filming stops.It might well be I’m completely wrong on all of this in which case,hopefully someone will correct it and tell me to shut up!
