Hello and welcome to drone Hub :waving_hand:
The mini 5pro is a great choice for a first drone packed with some great features.:+1:

If you have a look at TheDroneMap.com this will tell you where you are permitted and also where you cannot fly your drone.

Once you have found a suitable and safe place to practice with your drone just start with the basics of taking of hovering and landing, Then try some other control moments with the drone
Basic Flight Movements Mastering the four primary axes allows for full control of the aircraft.
Throttle (Ascend/Descend) Moves the drone vertically up or down.

Pitch (Forward/Backward): Tilts the drone’s nose up to fly backward or down to fly forward.

Roll (Left/Right): Banks the drone sideways to the left or right.

Yaw (Rotate) Turns the drone’s nose clockwise or counter-clockwise, panning the camera view.

Again don’t rush take your time and above all enjoy the experience :slightly_smiling_face::wink::+1:
One other small but very important tip is don’t fly in S which is Sports mode to being with or when you are practicing with your drone as this turns off all of your drones obstacle avoidance and you most probably will and could possibly crash your drone. Always being flying in C which is Cine Mode or N which is Normal Mode. Again flying in S Mode in sports turns off your drones saftey features obstacle avoidance and sensors.
