Newbie here from Surrey to London

Hiya all, hope you’re all well and flying high on this lovely day. I was very fortunate to have just won my first drone and have an operator’s ID,flyer’s ID and now insurance.Woop woop. I live near Guildford, Surrey, and I’m wondering if there are any great spots to go with my baby Neo 2.

Welcome to the Drone Hub community @RoxG85 :waving_hand: If you check the Drone map which is downloadable from the FPVUK website and install this on your phone,This will tell you where you can and cannot fly your DJI Neo 2.
The Red circle areas are called FRZ and are classified as none flying areas because of close proximity to air ports, Military bases and prisons.
And yellow area’s are advisory, Or caution zones where air space safety, Or security concerns exits small air fields or helicopter landing area’s.
I hope this has helped you out :+1:

Yeah that would be lovely. I’ve actually haven’t been there yet even though i driven Near to it, heading to Portsmouth. I also thought we wasn’t allowed to fly without authorisation as it is part of the national trust?

Authorisation is something you would have to look into,if it’s required etc.
I’ve not been down that way for a long time, the last time is before that by-pass road was built. You actually drove along the Hog’s Back and down into the Punchbowl as part of the A3.I remember it always being rather eerie, especially in the evening twilight
