Hi another new drone pilot here! N Cambs/ NW Northants area.
Been considering getting one for years and in fact did get a ‘toy one’ from a Fb add which turned out to be all marketing bullshit and a total waste of money. Was then put off by regulations and bad press so… However met someone who flies drones as a professional photographer and got talking. His advice seemed sound and that combined with some spare cash meant I bit the bullet and splashed out on a DJI Mini 4 Pro: Combo package.
Done 3 practise flights and it seems like a wonderful bit of kit, easy to control and super photos from the off. It has so many great features that I’m not sure if I’ll ever lean or use them all, but will try.
Any advice, comments or help gratefully rec’d.

@Skyewalker Welcome to DroneHub.
Best advise is to learn the drone code at CAA website
If you’ve not already done so sign up with FPV as you can fly under article 16 authorisation as well as providing liability insurance. Definitely read the handbook provided.
Stick within the rules and have fun
