I bought the same drone a couple of weeks ago. it’s my frost time too and so far the X1 surpasses my expectations massively.

I was nervous too but am starting to trust the drone and the software and my confidence is growing. i have posted a few videso and pictures on here as well and we did our first night flight this week

Have fun and i look forward to seeing what you get.

@Moorzy Congratulations on your first drone! :+1: The first flight is always a bit nerve-racking, but the confidence comes quickly once you get a few batteries under your belt.

The Lake District will be an amazing place to learn aerial photography and videography—just make sure you check airspace restrictions and any local rules before flying. Some stunning opportunities up there for photos and video!

My advice would be to spend plenty of time practising the basics in open fields first, learning the intelligent flight modes, Return-to-Home settings, and how the drone reacts in different wind conditions. It will make those mountain flights much more enjoyable.

Most importantly, take it slow and enjoy it. Before long you’ll be wondering why it felt so scary on that first flight! :helicopter:
