Evening all.
My manes Si, spend most of my free time, (what bit I get between full time and part time work, busy chap!)
Out in the field photographing agricultural work here in Leicestershire.
Just bought my 2nd drone, a Mini 3, a little upgrade to the Mavic air I started with.
Hopefully this will improve my flying skills!
Welcome to the forum, friendly and helpful bunch they are..
Hiya. Ive just joined to and got the same drone but going to make a decision to open the box or upgrade to the mini 4 pro as got more sensors to save me crashing, may be a good idea but costs more. At least we can learn together
Hello from Facebook!
I looked at the Mini 4pro but decided the mini 3 will do. The Mini 3 lacks the track feature but that’s where a bit of skill comes in! Flying round a machine in the field while tracking it isn’t too difficult though.
Would love to see some of that agriculture here!

Think i will stick with the 3 too as ive got the fly more kit was extra batterys. Not sure if i can justify extra cost then would need to buy power blocks on top. I havent used mine as our airspace is under full restriction due to Ayr Air Show with red arrows
I’ve ordered an extra battery and some filters for the camera lens. They will make a big difference!
I’ve put one up Louis. I can only submit one pic. I have a few though!
Ah thanks, here alot about UV filters, they make a lot of difference plus protection for the lens unit. My fly more kit came with some good stuff. I wanted to stay below the 249g mark to make it a little easier for me to get to grips with
Great stuff - good luck!
Thank you Simon! It’s definitely interesting.
The contractors love it as they don’t often get to see pics or videos of their operations.
