Just rejoined FPV after a hectic few years now having more time to spend with my Potensic Atom. Limited so far to a local recreation ground but an area large enough to gain some flying confidence. I’m thinking of taking the drone on holiday to Cornwall soon with the hope of finding some not too busy spots for a bit of flying. I read somewhere that beaches between high and low water are Crown Property where it’s legal to fly (obviously subject to the usual caveats) - does anyone have any info on this?

Hi @simont53 and welcome to DroneHub!!

We discussed the crown estate / foreshore thing a couple of weeks back and I learned that its not all foreshore, but its about 50%. You can see a map of which bits of foreshore the Crown Estate owns in my post from back then: Law taking off and bylaws - #9 by SimonDale

Interesting to hear of another Potensice Atom pilot. I seem to be hearing about them a lot.

They sent me a Potensic Atom 2 a few weeks ago, before it came out. But I havent had chance to fly it yet.

My old mate Tony in China, who was our account manager at DJI in 2013 or so, is now the sales manager at Potensic. So it was nice to connect with him again. I must get it out and give it a whirl!
