Hi there.

I’ve just got myself a DJI Mini 4 Pro this week and have taken it out a couple of times just to get some practice in. I’m still building up my confidence with it and I’m so looking forward to getting out with it again. Anyone got any tips for a nervous flyer?

Hi Mark. Just like you I got my mini 4 pro last Saturday. But prior to that I had a mini 2 se that saw all of 10 minutes flight. I hoping for some tips too. But I hope I’m not overstepping by welcoming you myself.

Hi there DCPrince69

Thanks for replying and welcoming me to the hub. This is my first ever drone and hope to have many exciting and safe flights ahead. I wish you all the same with yours. Enjoy.

Hi Mark, like DCPrince I also have just upgraded from a Mini 2 to a Mini 4 pro although I’ve flown my Mini 2 many times generally whilst out kayaking in Strangford area or along the Co Down coast. I take it you’ve got your Operator ID etc?

Hi @BillyTheFish yes I have my operator and flyer IDs. The mini 4 pro will serve as a way to get into drone flying with the hope of upgrading to either the air or maveric models in the future once I get more flying time under my belt.

I would recommend having a look at this guys tutorials, you should be able to grasp the accent.
Do a search for “The Drone Creative” on YouTube, I tried to post the link but I’m not allowed?
He’s called Mathew Brennan and his videos are very good

Yeah I’ve watched a view of his videos as they are very informative

I’ve just received my operator ID stickers for my drone which I ordered off Amazon, now if this horrible rain would just go away I can get out and about with the M4P.
