New Flyer - Holy Stone HS460

Hi all,

Firstly thank you for llowing me to join this community.

I’m totally new to the hobby, and got interested in flying drones mostly to take extra shots from above when hiking when I’m in the Lake District and also in my free time. I have a Holy Stone HS460 drone and have done a couple of flights so far in order to try and get use to the controls.

I’m after some advice please regarding drone maps of where to fly and not fly. I was using Drone Assist but then found out that it is not updated and therefore we should not use it. Any recommendations please.

Could you please share your approach to choosing the right place and recommend some safe, scenic spots for flying the drone in Kent, ideally near The Medway Towns?

I’m also open to any advice or support that is offered.

FPV has the Drone Map https://thedronemap.com/ and is up to date so worth using

I don’t know Kent and if there are any local Byelaws but under Article 16 Authorisation you have the freedom to fly from places classed as recreation spaces such as parks.
