New drone owner in Watford , what’s best places to fly nearby

Hi everyone just got a DJI mini 2 se and wanted to see what good places there is around or near Watford, was looking at going to my local playing fields as there is massive land but on the council website it says no drone flying is allowed in any Watford park or you will be liable for a £500 fine

Not sure about that but i wouldn’t risk it, ask the police in warford first before flying, and if you havent already download the drone assist app from the app store or play store its really useful, hipe this helps a bit.:+1:

thanks for that yeh I messaged the council to see if that involves the grass areas or just the park, I have been looking and might take a trip to Nomansland in wheathampsted.
