I imagine this one will be popular, anyone ordered one yet?
@Louis.fpv I had a look at the specs and the reviews on YouTube i know it supports full RID now because itâs a UK1 or 1 label which some people are not to keen on that, Personally its the law and we just have to just roll with it.
The intelligent flight battery on paper does say approximately 23 mins of flight time but in reality you are more likely to get 18 mins approximately if your lucky.
I think you will probably eat through the batteries and at only flying for 18 mins at a time so having the fly more combo option would be beneficial ![]()
Here is the link if anyone was interested looking at the specs ![]()

DJI Avata 360 (DJI RC 2)
Includes DJI RC 2 remote controller with screen, one Intelligent Flight Battery, and more, ready for flight with 360° imaging.
I have the fly more RC2 on order with DJI Europe as DJI Retails donât ship to the Isle of Wight, due to be shipped on the 25th.
I intend to buy the âDrone Onlyâ I already have a motion controller, goggles3, RC2 and RC2 Pro controllers.

The drone only option just comes with 1x Battery, If i was going to purchase the Avata 360 i would most definitely look to getting the fly more combo that will give you three batteries. A lot of people on YouTube have already said that the downside to this drone is the overall battery life is very poor at 16-18 mins flight time approximately,But on paper they claim you can get 23 mins.
Interesting that theyâre selling this one with goggles (âGoggles N3â):
Or an RC2 controller with screen:
Goggles makes more sense for an FPV drone, but with the 360 camera - I guess this isnât just a straight-up FPV drone as the Avata 2 was.
Which would you go for?
Itâs great that theyâre offering that, and these devices are compatible. Usually with DJI itâs a throw is away and start again job, with nothing compatible with anything else.

Hiya Simon. Is that really the case? Donât know if I jumped to conclusions a few weeks ago but I was under the impression that the main RC controller (with the display) would be usable with most of the other lower range drones? From a camera standpoint, DJI have been pretty good with interactivity amongst their products.
Yes, I ran a DJI importer from 2008 to 2018 (we were their biggest UK importer in 2016) and with new models it was always a start again job. Nothing was compatible with anything from the previous generation.
Itâs great to see that the RC2 controller and Goggles, etc are much more compatible in the last 2 or 3 years. Thatâs so much better, for our wallets and the environment!
It also might sell more drones. If I can upgrade my Avata 2 package to an Avata 360 by buying just the drone and 3 batteries + charging hub, I would be much more likely to than if I had to start again from scratch with a new controller, new goggles, etc.
I canât see the drone-only for sale just yet though.
