Night flying is permitted in the UK, but darkness can make distance, direction and obstacles harder to judge so it is important to be a competent and experienced pilot, before undertaking your first night flight.
For flights in the Open Category, your drone must have an active green flashing light throughout the flight. You also need to maintain visual line of sight and follow the usual rules for your aircraft and location.
