Have a Neo MOTION and it gets a fair bit of rough and tumble bumping into things I was concerned about protecting the camera lens. Fitted one of these, primarily for the extra protection it gives plus a UV filter wont do any harm, even though less neccesary for digital sensors.
Snap fitted, secure and still fits under the clip on storage cover.
