Mini 5 pro RID ready?

I contacted the DJI London store regarding RID on my mini 5 pro and if there would be a firmware update to activate it.The answer I received was a bit confusing because they said the mini 5 pro does not support RID but I have been told by live chat on the main DJI website that it does.I was under the impression that new DJI drones that will require it were RID ready,are they or not?

I would be surprised if they are not. I have a mini 4 pro and it is available since last update, put my ID in so I should think it is working. Have you got the RC2 remote, switch on with drone connected. go to menu three dots. Under safety below Unlock GEO zones you should see Remote ID

I’ve looked and it’s not there,the drone has got a UKO class mark though so I would have thought it was ready.Perhaps I’ll wait to see if there is a firmware update

I too have a mini 4 pro and RC2 with latest firmware but no RID option appears, not normally a worry but I intend to add the plus battery and sim dongle which will put it in the next weight class

Very odd, did you have the drone connected, needs to be on.
