Hi Everyone. Im new but have been flying my Mavic Air 2 for quite a few years. Short while ago I paid a lot of money to have the boards inside replaced and a huge service and update all firmware etc. It seems to me that next year I wont be able to use it. My A2 CofC expires later this year and Im completely unsure what to do. Its doesnt have the new manufacturer markings required.

Hi Gavin
CAA paused the C rating thing. So it continues to be based purely on mass.
However, they did advertise a job recently for someone to run an MSA (market surveillance authority) which would administer C ratings, etc. So, it seems like C ratings might come back at some point in the future.
All the best
Simon
But from what I can see the CAA are changing CAP 722 again only listing the new type of labelling. Its becoming too confusing on how to stay legal.
