Hi everyone,
I’m looking for a bit of advice on landing mats for my DJI Air 3.
I’ve seen quite a few pilots using the spring-loaded pop-up landing mats, but I can’t seem to find where to buy one. Can anyone recommend a good quality one and where to get it from?
I’d like something that’s quick to put down and pack away, as using pegs isn’t always practical.
Thanks in advance!
Chris

Here’s what I use and suggest the larger one:
Thanks so much for getting back to me, I really appreciate it.
Just wanted to check – does that one need to be pegged down? Some of the places I fly, I won’t be able to use pegs, so I’m looking for something that works well without them.
Thanks again!
It does have peg loops and comes with three pegs but 95% of the time I don’t use them. Works fine without unless it’s quite blustery. One occasion on hard ground and windy I did put some stones around the edge.
It has a wire frame edge so it twists on itself and folds so packs away much smaller than it’s open size.
Do recommend the larger of the two sizes, more area to aim for
Gets my thumbs up !

FWIW a stone will work instead of the pegs, so when your going somewhere there will be no chance of using pegs, take 3 little bags you can tie to the mat and fill them with a stone/stones.
Thanks Matty. Unbelievable the most simple things is just don’t think of sometimes we think so complicated appreciate your advice cheers Chris.

@Bighac Hi Chris, I use one of the spring-loaded pop-up mats and they’re brilliant for exactly that reason.
No messing around with pegs, just throw it down and it pops into shape, then twists back up into the carry bag.
There are loads on Amazon/eBay under “foldable drone landing pad” — I’d go for one around 55–75cm for the Air 3.
Which ever one you buy be care full when you open it out to use. Mine has a nasty habit of trying to knock my teeth out. Throw it down on the floor to be safe.
