Most people don’r realise that the coss head screws on precision products made in China, Japan, Korea etc aren’t Phillips. If you use PH scewdrivers your running the risk of graunching the screw heads. The cross head screws used on products from this part of the world are JIS heads (Japan Industry Standard).
