Kite Surfing UK

Hi All,
I have a relation that does a bit of kit surfing and we are all going on holiday together in the summer. I fancy having a go at getting some footage of him out on the sea.
Has anyone on here tried this before? Any tips for it?
I’ll be using (assuming I haven’t destroyed it whilst learning) a mini 4 pro.
Many thanks
Romer

@01Romer I’ve filmed a bit of kitesurfing with my Mini 4 Pro and the biggest tip I’d give is to keep plenty of distance and let ActiveTrack do some of the work. The speed and direction changes can catch you out quickly, especially over water.

Try filming slightly to the side rather than directly behind, and use slower gimbal movements for a more cinematic look. Also keep a close eye on battery levels and wind conditions—it’s amazing how much faster the battery drains when fighting a sea breeze on the way back!

Looking forward to seeing the footage, the Mini 4 Pro is more than capable of getting some fantastic shots. :+1:
