It's a hi from Suffolk

Hi. I am just reaching out to introduce myself. I am a complete novice and just bought a DJI Avatar 360 drone. Completed the CAA “exam” online and got my Flyer ID and Operator ID. Done all the firmware updates and bought the insurance, and now I am ready to fly! However, I am just sitting here looking at the drone. It’s a bit daunting!

Thanks, buddy

Welcome to the forum, a pretty helpful and friendly crew here.

Just go fly. The level of automation in DJI drones means they practically fly them selves. Let go of the sticks and it will just hover where you left it. You have a return to home function as well if you lose track of things.

@Fletch Welcome to Drone Hub :waving_hand:

Do check out TheDroneMap.com this will explain where you can fly your drone and aslo most importantly where you are not permitted to fly your drone.
