Apologies if these seem silly questions but I’m not sure if I have too many or not enough cover. I have dji mini 4 pro and took the one year dji refresh a day after the purchase. I was recommended to get FPVUk too so have paid for the year for that cover. Then from further research and online topics i found that for equipment cover/damage/loss etc a Cover Drone policy is recommended along with FPVuk. So now I’ve got an initial one month policy with cover drone for £7.39 a month. The questions are: are all these necessary or just Dji refresh & FPVuk or cover drone & FPVuk. I don’t want to pay out unnecessary premiums if its not needed but if all those three provide adequate cover then I don’t mind. Just seems strange that 1 policy doesn’t cover all the potential possibilities . Thanks in advance
DJI care is not insurance. It is a coverplan for your drone.
That covers your drone in case it is damaged.
FPV UK is public liability insurance. It indemnifies you, the person, in case you damage property or injure a person or persons.
The two together is a perfect match.
Having multiple insurance policies for the same risk (e.g. FPV UK and Coverdrone) is not a great idea. In the event of a (big) claim, the insurance companies would spend years arguing about who should pay out.

Hi Simon. Do you know if there are any UK companies that offer a similar insurance for drones? (accidental damage etc.)
DJI Care is your best bet.
Moonrock Drone Insurance may also offer something of interest.
Ok, thanks. I’ll take a look at both.
