How to register to fly in the Republic of Ireland as in EU

Hi all. New to all this and was looking some help how i register to fly in the Republic of Ireland as it belongs to the EU and i am in Northern Ireland.

If you’re flying in the Republic of Ireland, you’ll need an EU Operator ID. I recently got mine through AlphaTango (France) and found the process very straightforward. The online application was easy to complete, and the Operator ID is valid for 5 years.

There are some excellent guides and walkthroughs available in the group which take you through it step-by-step. Once you’ve got your EU Operator ID, you can legally fly in Ireland and other EU countries.

Hi there. Thanks for replying.
I have sence fot my EU operator ID but i have been told you have to take a Flyer ID test too just like the uk one. Do yiu know anything about this.
