Hi from West Yorkshire. I’ve ordered a Mavi 3 Pro from Wex (my first drone) and completed the following:
Joined Mavic Pilots forum.
Obtained CAA Flyer and Operator IDs.
Obtained FVP UK membership.
I’m now contemplating A2 CoC, although I’m informed that this is not a necessity, as I plan to use the drone for landscape photography (not commercial) which may be covered through the Article 16 provided under FVP UK membership. Although I see that A2 CoC is available for as little as £49 with FVP UK membership deals.

What part of West Yorkshire are you from ? I am originally from Leeds, Horsforth but now live North Yorkshire Coast…Seaside with a Castle…You must know it. Anyway stay in touch and enjoy.

You’re right that you possibly/probably dont need an A2 CofC if you’re flying for fun. You can use our Article 16 Operational Authorisation.
You’re also right that if you do want to get one, you do get 58% off and do one at Coptrz (or UAV Academy) for £49 inc VAT.
