I’m looking for sites to view and fly my drone around in the Swansea area.
Welcome to the hub @martynpaulhone-7qprr I don’t know Swansea but maybe other members can help you.

@martyn1 Swansea has some fantastic places to fly, but always check local bylaws and airspace first, and make sure you have permission if you’re taking off from private land.
Some great spots include Rhossili Bay, Oxwich Bay, Three Cliffs Bay, Mumbles Head (outside busy periods), and Cefn Bryn on Gower. If you’re after quieter flights, early mornings are usually your best bet.
Before heading out, it’s worth checking the airspace in your drone app and on Drone Assist to make sure there aren’t any temporary restrictions. Enjoy, and fly safe!

Drone Assist is no longer functional use https://thedronemap.com/ instead for any flight restrictions.
As long as you don’t take off and land on private land you can essentially fly anywhere ( even over that private land) as long as you take off and land in a publicly accessible area.
Oh and Welcome

The only reliable source for a safe flight is https:// thedronemap.com. Drone Assist has gone into liquidation, and although it’s still available, it hasn’t been updated since.
