Hi, just joined and very new to drones! Have my Uk and Europe Id’s, what a pain the europe one was lol, wish i had joined this group 1st and gone atraight to the free french test(i did in the end!)
Just got a Holystone HS360E, did my 1st outside flight yesterday, all good.
Thought i was videoing the whole time (for ease) but only had a few seconds clips, plenty to learn!

Welcome to the forum, a pretty helpful and friendly crew here.
I’m sure it happens to everyone, we all make mistakes. I’ve taken off with the gimbal cover on more times than I care to remember. I made a great video only to discover I hadn’t pressed record and I often forget to take stills but we live and learn.
Thank you!
oh no, I bet that video would have been fab LOL! Its all fun ![]()
Hello and welcome to the forum.
I got my EASA flying id in Germany (where I live) and it was very straightforward, as was getting public liability insurance.
hi, I initially tried with Spain as that is where I am going, but could not find the test in English! Tried Ireland, they wanted 51€, then Austria, they wanted 31€, someone then suggested France, it was free - so I took the test many times haha!!
Thank you!
I forget how much mine was Denise but I had to get public liability insurance before I could even register as I needed to enter the policy number to apply. This was then checked before they issued me with my id.
I used google chrome to register mine so I could use the translate facility ![]()
