New DJI Mini Pro 4 Drone owner, living on the fens in South Lincolnshire. Lots to learn and been busy obtaining all the necessary ids and compliance needs.

Going to read the FPV handbook next after picking up my 30w A & C Charger. Very happy to be here and looking forward to flying the drone and learning what it can do, also engaging with people on here and hopefully meeting up in the future.

My Wife bought me a HS Series FPV Drone several years ago which I had a few attempts at flying and got it airborne and moving about but I got a bit baffled and a combination of circumstances and poor time availability means it has sat in the cupboard so that is there as a target for the future. If it will still work!

Mini 4 Pro’'s a good choice and for someone new a lot easier to fly than an FPV drone.

The DJI Mini series are great drones to get started with, a totally different kettle of fish to FPV but they’ll let you get up in the air and get a feel for it, plus you can shoot some great footage with them :slight_smile:

As for revitalising an old drone that’s been in storage, I’m doing something similar and finding that it’s essentialy an exercise in replacing everything except the frame :smiley: Although mine’s been shoved in the loft for over a decade, I guess YMMV a bit :sweat_smile:
