Went out for a bit of a fly today as the weather was so nice. A visit to the Harringworth Viaduct, a Victorian 82 arch railway bridge…
Will be back there tomorrow meeting up with a couple of lads from here.

You are so lucky to live close to that amazing Victorian architecture. The Victorians knew how to build anything properly, and so solid to it stands the test of time, it also stands out so beautifully.
You only have to look at London Bridge, Houses of Parliament and Big Ben to see that.
I got some nice shots, just not the blue in the sky! I’ve left the middle one full sized to emphasise the shear enormity of this fantastic structure
It has two tracks and it is still in regular use…

@mikesS-jq6wb - Do you mean Tower Bridge or London Bridge? The Current London Bridge was only opened in 1973 having replaced the old 19th Century built bridge
