GVC Training / Operator ID

Good evening, guys n girls.
I am after a little bit of advice. The company has requested that I take the GVC training course along with some other team members. I manage the other team members. I know it will give me a good insight into what the guys should be doing when carrying ouy drone culvert inspections. To say I’m worried about the flight assessment is an understatement. no idea what to expect.

I had a conversation with my MD, I was letting him know we needed someone within the company to register for the operator ID. He asked if I would take on the lead for the UK.
Should I be worried about taking on this responsibility? I gather it will be down to me to sort out the Operational Authorisation.

Any advice would be greatly received.

I’ve never done a GVC training course (maybe someone else has and can chime in?), but I wouldn’t be too worried.

It might be worth doing our CofC Practical if you would like to get confident with flying some manoeuvres and doing a flight test? (Our’s is certainly very relaxed and there’s no stress, but it might give you some confidence ready for the GVC test?).

Just had a read of the FPV CoC. Might have to get myself out at weekend and get some practice in.
