Been to curry’s pc world today and bought a Starlink kit as I live in the middle of nowhere. Very easy to set up and currently getting good unable speeds. Well chuffed. If anyone is thinking about getting it, then it’s definitely a thumbs up from me.

Different approach but due to local cable issues I went with a 5G router to get internet over the mobile phone networks, 325Mb/s at quiet times 150+ when busy for 17 quid a month.
Also you can plug a normal BT phone in (with extensions around the house) and it goes out on the routers SIM number so unlimited calls as well included,
Plus you can pick your router up and take it on holiday or camping etc and your internet goes with you !
What sort of speeds do you get on Starlink ?
Just used speedtest.net on my phone and got 400 mbps download and 30 mbps upload from the next room.
I’ve tried all networks and really struggle. This was the last option for us.
Can I ask how much it costs, and what speeds you’re getting?
