Forced delay on replying

Several times today after making one post and then going to reply to another a pop up has appeared saying there was an error and I am replying too fast. Then blocking me from posting for several minutes.

I’m not doing anything different than i usually do here, create a post of two and reply to some.

Has some setting in the forum software been changed ?

Just got this when i tired to post this message:

“An error occurred: You’re replying a bit too quickly. Please wait 10 minutes before trying again.”

So i now have to thumb twiddle for 10 mins…

You may have seen that the forum was attacked on Thursday evening.

We had 440 new members suddenly appear and 330ish new topics, full of spam were posted.

We changed lots of settings, really quickly.

Let me hunt down this one and relax it.
