Flying over Theme Park

I’m looking to capture some stunning aerial footage over theme parks and was wondering if anyone has experience with this or knows the legal regulations surrounding drone flights in these areas. I only plan to fly in legal zones and will avoid no-fly areas. Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated!

As far as where you take off and land (TOAL) from, subject to local authority bylaws (check) you should be OK TOALing from public LA land outside the theme park I doubt any theme park will let you TOAL from within the park.

The big issue, assuming your drone is sub 250g is crowds and people on rides (or just sitting down) - they cannot get away of falling drone, so you cannot overfly them. There’s also the the risk of a drone hitting a ride and causing a malfunction - or at least of being acused of that risk.
I would avoid flying over a theme park. Shoot from above the perimeter or at least away from ‘assemblies of people’ and the rides themselves at decent well above the rides. As ever keep your drone in sight at all times.
