EASA permissions

I have just registered my Neo & Air 3S with Alpha Tango.
I tried to register flights in April when I go to La Gomera in the Canaries.
According to AT, because my drones are sub 800g, I don’t need them authorised (I will be flying away from urban areas and people) Would this be the same ruling for the whole of the EASA jurisdiction?

Hey Martin

Welcome to Dronehub!

I haven’t heard of that requirement before, so I would say it’s not a requirement across the EU.

From what I’ve read, Spain has extremely harsh drone laws and the police are unforgiving.

Thanks Simon,
I guess I’d better have a look at the Spanish laws then,
Thanks for the response.
