Just joined (and quickly left) the “Drones UK” Facebook group.
Whereas this place is all about safety and conformity, that was the complete opposite!
Guys pulling stunts, no respect for the rules. Saying “don’t update” if a drone arrives without the 120m limit set. I was literally on it for a couple of minutes before deciding I’d be falling out with lots of people in there and who needs that!!
It sucks that there are idiot people out there spoiling it for everyone. Such is life eh…

To be honest, I have joined several Facebook groups purely to monitor activity and never comment, because it’s good to know the dark side of the hobby and avoid it.

It’s fair to say I was quite surprised. You’d expect admin/moderators to attempt to keep things on track - saw some commentators who did try - but the push back and abuse they were getting was quite sad. It’s not a place I want to inhabit personally.
