Hi @anthonyjamesti-y9glr

Interesting. How well does it work?

Have you got video to share?

I tried to put a video on but it would only let me put a photo. Ill try again later

Hi @anthonyjamesti-y9glr

It would need to be a link to YouTube, or a similar service.

Thanks

Simon

To be honest, i cant remember but id say dont go more than 30mph. Even slower when you have obstacles around as the sensors have to work overtime. I crashed the mini 5 on its first outing in spain.

Nice. I have the Mini 4 Pro and am thinking about upgrading to the 5 mainly for its better camera, so I look forward to your video taken with the newer drone.

So what happened with the tree branches and the power line?

Did you press the stick to command it down low on the power cable?

Yes, i pulled the stick down to avoid the lines and trees. Ive mounted the RC2 on the handle bars with a ram mount and camera fittings.

Did you need to do that? Wouldn’t the obstacle avoidance taken care of those? Or were you flying in Sports mode to keep up with the bikes?

When the drone is moving quite quick, i think its all on staying behind you. Big trees with leafy branches not a problem, but twigs and cables could be. What i should have done was put the mini up higher in the air.

I’ll have to have a go with my mini 4 pro.

Nice vids !

Cheers :clinking_beer_mugs:, yes for sure. Give it a go.

Thanks for posting the Mini 5 Pro videos. I was wondering if Active Track can be used to film you from the front with the drone flying backwards as you drive towards it? Is that possible?

I ride motorcycles from the 1930s and have been using Insta360 cameras on them for a number of years but would like to try and get some drone footage of them…

No worries :+1: yes, you can have the drone fly backwards in front of you. I would surgest only doing it in an open area. Like my mini 4 vid. I think the drone is working so hard just to keep up.
