tried to take a look at a roof the other day. Flocks of pigeons seemed to appear from nowhere! Followed by a few fearless seagulls. Pigeons flew quite close but not as close as the seagulls…any tips on deterring them would be apreciated

A shotgun should do the trick 
but seriously I hear red reflective tape does the trick on the prop arms and on the main body (top and bottom) some good vids on YT
